Question Need advise for fat loss

I recently signed up for that Trim spa contest last week and have 12 weeks to change how I look physically.

Currently at 285-295 looking to get down to 230 by then.

Is there anything wrong with doing 2-3 hours of cardio a day for 5 days a week. ( I do this after work , or while working) I 've been eating a lot of protein to keep from losing some muscle
due to cardio, while still weight training.

I dont use the treadmill, instead I use the " standing bicycle looking thing"
    or stair climbing.
afterwards I do about 500-1000 sit-ups on the ab machine,
    w/wo resistanse.

It sucks right now cause I can feel my stomach but cant see it, and I look more fat than B4 because my ab muscle is bigger and is pushing the fat out more since its not completly gone.

Is the cardio too much or not?

I think its too much personally...but thats just me
Some weight training + cardio would probably be better

and diet is probably more important than anything for losing weight/fat
