Getting tired of this problem...i would aprecciate some help

Man i am getting tired of this s***! I can do legs and other stuff where i barely use my arms ( i mean, where they dont really work hard) but in other exercises i stuck because of my left arm! I know: iam a newbie on this stuff and everybody has the left arm weaker than the other one but i am wondering if my isnt much more weaker than the right one...

If i start any exercise (bench press, dumbell flies, grip pull up, dumbel curls, etc) i can do it for sometime but when i went on set number 2 or 3 my left arm will stuck completly. Will not do anything else. Even if i force myself like hercules, even if i call names to myself and scream as hell (lol) the arm will not move and will be unable to do any more lifts, while my right arm is able to do much more! This is horrible! I feel that i am not doing all the exercises because of my left arm.

Sometimes i will use much less weight and i feel thats not the solution, because the arm aill get tired very fast also (not so fast). Sometimes i even rest 5 min (i tried bewteen 1 and 5 min rest)!! and thats too much for retsing i think.

Do you think that i should make stand alone exercises just for my left arm, during non-workout days? Maybe using very soft weights just to get my left arm normal. What would you advise?

    thanks a lot

Why not just train the weak side for the next 2 months exclusivly if it is that bad.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

How long have you been lifting? Imbalances usually correct themselves over time.

I say do unilateral work where you only match your weak arm with your strong arm in terms of volume. Also do plenty of barbell work.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

I wouldn't worry about it. If your left arm gives out before everything... so be it. It just means your left arm gets a better workout which it needs anyway. Since the left arm is getting a better workout, it will grow faster and eventually it will catch up. The same thing works with other compound exercises. If your arms give out on chin ups before your back gets a good workout.. well eventually your arms will catch up.

Good point, some friends of mine said that too, but my arm get "stuck" really fast. So fast that one of these firends tought that i may have a problem with my arm, probably because i dont use it a lot...maybe a silly idea from him.I think i will give my self one or 2 days a week just to give some extra exercises to my left arm. Hope thats not a bad idea.

I had a big left/right arm strength imbalance when I started lifting...It persisted for the first year.

i used do long negatives when repping my left arm...I don't know if that was the answer the problem was corrected after time.
