for sprinting do 15x120 yard sprints in under 20 seconds, for each one over 20 seconds add 1 more sprint(up to 5 sprints).Rest for 45 seconds while lightly jogging back to start.

for jumping i have slapped on some ankle weights and i would try and jump up and touch the taller branches,i wouldnt stop till i either touched them or i got extremely close.

oh yea,i may not be a pro on this so dont try and rip me to shreds.

I don't think anyone has to try and rip you apart, your routine does it for them.

To get better at jumping, jump. That is, if you have a good strength base. If you don't, build a strength base.

For running, if you are looking to gain top end, especially on a basketball court, just sprint the distance of the court. You will never run further than that distance in a straight line playing basketball anyway. You will also need to recover fully between sprints. Once you get pretty fast, you need to make your rest intervals similar to what they would be in basketball, which means short.

You should also do agility stuff, a lot of lateral movements, and a lot of switching between running backward, forward, and lateral.

I'm not breaking down each muscle involved in each activity because they are all used to some extent.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

for running. Take the ball.....and Go CRAZY in the court. it worked for me!. I was much faster with my dribbling, had better balance with the ball, and gained lots of speed. dont forget to eat healthy to make your training worth it .
