The chest is the hardest bodypart to make grow!!

Its seems that all of us should take a good look and the mirror and realise that what we've got is good genetics while others are not so fortunate. Who decides whether we have good genetics or not anyway?

So, i was down the gym last nite in abid to rescue my mate, Phillip Watkins, from ruining his chances of winning Mr Wales (natural physique) of the year award...it seems that no matter how hard he trains his chest, he cannot get it to grow. Every other part of his body is almost perfect...So why is this? Its genetics i told him....and he began to sob infront of everyone in the gym...how pathetic! He's 34 years old and he cries...Wha!Wha!Wha! Anyway ive put him on a strict routine where he will train nothing but chest for 7 days only....This is the routine:

Barbell Press (incline) 5 Sets of 12-15 reps with 150 kilos
Barbell Press (flat) 5 Sets of 8-10 reps on 180 kilos

Dumbell flyes (incline) 5 Sets of 25-30 reps with 50 kilos
Cable crossovers (kneeling) 5 Sets of 25-30 reps with maximum poundage possible

Let me know if you can think of a better chest routine that will help my friend....

NOTHING VENTURED...NOTHING GAINED!!

Why only 7 days? To compensate for his lack of chest, stick him on 30 days of solid chest, nothing else, training it every alternate day for at least 3 hours.

Don't bother with barbells, or dumbells, cable cross over is a legendary mass builder. Flyes and cross overs? 30 reps isn't enough. You need to compensate for the lack of mass. You should aim for 60.

He should also ice his chest after every session to prevent any further damage and ensure he does exercises 1 arm at a time to really feel the stretch.

I love it when a plan comes together.

pretty much the best exercises for getting a nice big and toned chest would be hindu pushups, slide pushups, and chest flys. benching and all that would make ur chest strong but u might also get man boobs or somethin.

Variation is key for getting any bodypart to grow, IMO. But especially for chest I would include crossbench DB pullovers. Either on your chest day or back day, but I've found they're the best out there for bringing your serratus (the muscles that run in between your chest and lats).
