What would happen if...

...a person trying to "bulk up" or gain mass doesn't eat the proper amount of calories/protein but does properly do his heavy lifting?

I'm not planning on doing this, just wondering.

the person won't "bulk up". Plain and simple. They may get stronger but not bigger, which was the original goal.

You could gain strength but you won't gain size.

I'm sure you already knew the answer though.

You'll gain strength and density.

Why settle for being a man when you can be an "IRONMAN".
