foreman do you routinely change your ava lol? Just now seem to be noticing this.
muscles work in concert to perform any lift. there is no way to single out a particular muscle group. train movement planes.

why would u think the best exercise for ur biceps are pullups.....
and the best tricep exercise would be dips

i know muscles work in concert to perform any lift, but all exercises have a targeted muscle ,such as the bench press it does many mucles such as chest, anterior delt, and triceps, but it targets the chest, therefore there is a way to single out a particular muscle group.
go on exrx.net it shows lots of exercises then it shows the targeted muscle, and it also shows secondary muscles worked
can I target the upper inner chest? which exercise would be the best for this?Originally Posted by mike456

The best exercises as a whole are: squats, deadlifts, lunges, bench pressing, overhead pressing, dips, rowing, pullups/chinups, and pulldowns. For the most part I stick with these movements.

I agree wholeheartedly, although when I train in movements, for instance a 'push day,' my triceps give out far too soon for my liking.Originally Posted by P-funk

I always tweaked volume, I tried tweaking excercises, but if I'm not performing the excercises I think are the best, or the volume that I see fit, should I or anyone else still work in movement planes or do like i've done as of late and return to bodypart training?

You use your triceps on all the presses. Why do you need to do anymore single joint work? It is a waste of time save for a few sets for tendon health.

Foreman says above that rows are best for lats. I was under the impression that chins (wide) and pulldowns (wide) are best for lats and rowing is best for upperback. Am I confused on this?
I love it when a plan comes together.
