How about a one week lifting, one week cardio (REPEAT) split????
week a= training on Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat (NO CARDIO)
week b= cardio on Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat (NO LIFTING)
repeat.
Anyone think this will be a decent training technique?? Tons of time for muscle recovery etc..
Inputs please
thanks

why?? That is to much time inbetween workouts to see any of the adaptations you seek actually take effect.

I don't see the point. At best you will merely maintain the level of cardiovascular conditioning and muscular size/strength that you currently posses.
