im going to start the routine he outlined and it will just be my leg day
You pick wich exersies u want ,
im gonna do deadlifts, Paused Jump squat(bodyweight), and ankle jumps
hopefully if i do those and drop the fat i got, ill be alot better at sports
also before I comment on the article I will tell you honestly that your limiting factor is your weight and BF. You need to get your diet in order. Once you drop weight you will be faster and you will jump higher.
yea i know but i want to a1so get on the hs basketball team and ill still half to run alot faster and jump alot higher even if i do drop the bf, were you bein sarcastic or is he really a smart mofo-lol

he is really fucking smart! I love his articles.
what i am saying is if you deit and drop fat you are automatically going to get faster. Also, just working on basic strength you will increase your potential. You don't need a specific program. You are new to training. You just need consistency and you need to build your foundational strength before anything else.
im never gonna quit training- well at least until im 50, i will always be consisten to training, i just have to be consisten to dieting, i know your right when u say i will automatically gain speed and jump higher- its not easy to jump wih 70 lbs of fat around you
if you do what I say you will most defenitly get faster and jump higher.
also, if you want to make the team, those two factors are important but you also need to enhance your skills.....ball handeling, shotting, passing, etc...
yea i already have the skills, i used to be on a team and i have basketball gym in school, and i play at the park every chance i get, and i got an ok height for my age(6ft-15 years old), i just need speed and jumping skills, and i have to lose the weight to get that
Another key is to learn how to jump and land properly. This will reduce the impact on your joints and allow your muscles to do the eccentric breaking instead. Honestly, I need work on this myself, big time.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
