    Has anyone heard this

Today I ran into a guy in san diego that is friends with Reggie Bush. Reggie just finished his last year in college at USC and played running back for them. Now reggie is 6" tall and weighs 200 lbs.

This guy told me that Reggie in some competiton recently just benched pressed 280 lbs 27 times. Man if that's true, it just goes to show you that you don't need a ton of muscles to be super strong.

Vernon Davis from Maryland could give bush a run for his money.

    Check the stats...

When it comes to physical specimens, Vernon Davis is as good as it gets. He has wrote the record books at Maryland claiming the top spot in bench (460), power clean (355), vertical jump (40 inches), index (797), squat (685) and 40-yard dash time (4.38) for tight ends at maryland. He also has only 3% body fat.
    And he's 6-3 3/4 and 253 lbs.
Objective: Gain 20-30 pounds in five months.

    Weekly Weights & Heights:
    4/25/06 -- start -- 5'9, 156
    5/04/06 -- fever -- 148 (no food, no supps)
    5/14/06 -- one week -- 159 (10 pounds...damn)

    Who Reggie?

Bush is, currently, weighing in at 199, 200 lbs. But, supposedly, he has no problem bulking up to 215 or slimming down to 190.

The combine is 225 for everyone. Bush actually did 225 for 24 reps with sternum bounces each time. There was a video of it somewhere, made the front page news for some reason. Still, for a 20 year old that's very solid.

Lendale White only did like 15 reps, LOL. There is no regulation of how you do the reps, I believe.

Lendall White has been injured with a hammy problem. He's quite fat now. He's gained like 10-15 pounds since he hasn't been able to work out.

Well, considering the average offensive lineman leaving college for pro-ball can do 225 around 25 times average that's pretty impressive. I can do it 10 at 270 and the average weight for a lineman in the NFL is 328 and I'm only a sophmore in highschool so that doesn't seem super impressive to me..

Infact every year we have a highschool lineman challenge and a guy at my school put 205 up 18 times last year as a sophmore with a 365 bench at the time. Which is weird cause I'm certain I can put it up close to that and my max isn't close to that...

He doesn't use roids though. I mean - I know what you'll say but, he doesn't at all. In the 8th grade he was benchin 200 lbs, and I know he's never taken anything. Infact he doesn't even lift outside of doing the 30 minute routines in athletics. I do know some guys who have and he's not one of them. Infact, I'm certain he eats shitty as well. It's just purely genetic. And also - thanks Tough you're not so bad yourself OLD man.

Jesus I'm not sure "T". When I was in high school a guy name Greg Braun was 195 lbs at 5'9" tall. Now we are talking about 1966.This guy was a white guy who lifted 7 days a week 2 times a day. So much for over training. He had 20 1/2 arms. He could bench 425 lbs one time. Now that's amazing for those days as boys in high school weren't that big. And I know he was clean as he was my older brothers best friend

Well if he weighs 300+ I can believe a 365 bench at 15 years old, if not then he is on steroids for sure.

Fine some 18 year olds can bench 400+, I did it at 19 and two of my friends did it at 18 but we are talking about a 15 year old boy here....sorry but he is a huge fat ass and on steroids IMO....365 at 15 is a world record natural bench by about 50LBS

And your boy did not have 20 1/2 arms at 17-18 and only 5'9''......sorry but Arnolds were only 19 7/8 cold, sergios 20 1/8 cold so no way in hell some kid in high school 1966 had bigger arms than Sergio or Arnold...

Def not near 300. I'd say around 235. He was 16 at least maybe 17. My class group is a pretty strong group of guys though. I know for a fact no one in my class is on roids or has done roids and we got a guy that's gonna break our record at 125 on bench doin 210 lbs and another guy breaking the 131-159 squat record at 157 squatting 425 tomorrow. If someone has a camera I'll put up the video on here for people to see.
