what is the point of doin drop sets, when you lift as much as you can in one weight then drop to a lower wait and do that till you cant no more and soo on without much rest. is that an endurance thing. or is it something else.

I use it every once in a while although rarely. Basically what fufu said, to change it up and keep things different.

It can be used on occasion to help spark the stimulus for growth if you are failing with traditional methods. The lactate response is amazing, which seems to have some correlation to hypertrophy.
