    how long

I've been putting up 225 for 3 sets of 6 for about 2 months now once a week.
Sometimes I get all the reps in, sometimes Im short, sometimes I Rest longer than other days. Point is how long do you guys stick to a weight before you add more. When I do go up it will be to 245, for sets of 4, until I can do 3 sets of 6 comfortably. But again, how long is typical for you guys, or do you follow a different system?

Change it up, do sets with 205 for 10 or 8, do declines or DB bench....whatever just change something.

To be honest I hadn't lifted any alterior lifts to benchpress & incline to affect the chest ( since we were in season ) until just about 4 months ago. We started going into skull crushers, fly's, dumbell presses, and other various tricep work and my bench sky-rocketted. I think my muscles just needed the change of pace and it made all the difference. Like Foreman said; switch it up and keep working hard. I'm true believer in HIT, and I think supersets played a huge part in me getting bigger and my bench going up.

You should read what I wrote about periodization. Check it.
