    losing gains

    i havent did crap for 3 weeks

    how long before you start to lose muscle, whats the minumum lifting neded to maintain what youve got ?

    Depends on how long and at what level you have lifted, 3 weeks is nothing if you have been lifting for 10 years+, but for a beginner it might set you back a tiny bit.

    i didnt train for about a week and a half and my bench press i used to get 11 reps on it got only 7 and then hit failure

    Thats what happens to people that have only been training for 3 weeks.

    That's bullshit. Some people come back stronger if they need the additional rest from being overtrained. But most come back a little weaker the first week back and then the next time out equal or better there previous before the layoff.

    I start to feel the effects after 2 weeks. Strength and drive goes down. Be careful or you'll lose interest all together and not reach your goals. Get back to the gym!

    2 days per week is enough to maintain.

    Just get back in the gym, give yourself proper acclimation, and see where you are at.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    I find that I benefit better by taking off a week every so often, but I guess everyone knows this. Now, after 3 weeks it's a little hard to come back to the gym, not to mention the bad food I probably ate and alcohol I consumed during that time to keep me away from lifting.
