    Evening Up Muscle Strength?

    Question for ya.

When starting weight lifting what is the best way to even up your muscles, for example, due to my job, my right tricep is weaker than my left, and its the opposite for my biceps.

I have been keeping my sets at a comfortable weight for the weakest muscle group and not increasing it until it catches up to the stronger muscle group, would that work to even things out ?

    Thanks

Thanks, thats kind of what I was thinking.

Good point about the dumbells, I found out fast that using a barbell meant the stronger arm did some compensating for the weak, not good...lol.

I use dumbbells and only match my weak side with my strong side. When it comes to legs, unilateral movements (Lunges, stepups, etc.) are great for this reason as well.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
