    does training for hypotrophy and size requires going to failure in each set??

    I got very close the day before last with last set of DB bench. 60lb dumbells are a high for me \m/.

    Bloody hurt though. Still feeling it now.

    Definitely not. This isn't to say that one should never ever goto failure, but it certainly isn't necessary.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
