Hooks

Has anyone ever used hooks. I'm looking at two varations. Forward grip and reverse ones. Wonder which ones would be better for heavy deads.
Here's a link to what I'm talking about.

Now I know that your going to say you don't need them. Maybe I don't but I have the money and a discount coupon good until Mon and thought I would use it.

If nothing else I use it to pick one of you smart asses up by the ass when you come here....

I refuse to use straps/hooks myself, but if you find that your grip is holding you back in certain movements then you could use them. As a bodybuilder, they shouldn't interfere with your goals. I wouldn't let them become a crutch, but using them once your grip starts to go is understandable.

But which pair is really my question. LOL Now with that said, I'm so old that I need a pair just to hold onto my pecker.

I have been using the same thing. But now I'm going to try something that P-funk told me and that is take about a 10 second pause between reps. If i was going to do that, i would want to unwrap everytime between reps. So this might be easier and that was my thought behind the hooks.

I use them for heavy shrugs mostly. I put on a pair of batting gloves too cause that damn metal part that the material loops through digs into my wrist after a while. Good thing nobody sees me.

Mine were called "the hooker", the ones you ordered looked better.

Go for it TOM. I can't say shit, because I had to buy a pair of gloves with strapes last week.
My grip absolutely will not get any better.
