Question Question for the Ladies ( Serious )

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I know this may sound a little wierd but i promised a girlfriend of mine I'd look into this for her

Here goes : Has working out ever changed your menstral cycle ? Make it come late or early ?

She was worried she was pregnant but hasn't gotten any play for a while and was late with her period . She's recently started working out and was thinking that could have something to do with it .

What do you ladies think ? Or guys if you know about these things ?

any sort of factor could have altered her menstrual cycle
her stress levels, her eating habits, diet change, etc., i would gather that if the rest of her life were constant, the exercise would be the variable responsible for her late period.
of course, when female athletes train as hard as they do and drop their body fat, their menses actually stop but i don't think this is the case with your friend. this is probably a tranisent occurance that will subside as her body becomes accustomed to her new routine.
of course if her bf drops enough and she actually has no/or irregular periods, that's when i would see her health practitioner.
no worries IMO, just the wonders of being a woman!

Is she eating enough?? A few years ago I had an eating disorder. I ate WAY too little and worked out too much for the energy I gave my body.. This totally messed up my menstrual cycle.. Sometimes I had my period for like a month and sometimes I didn't get it at all..
Talk to her about her eatinghabits, you might find the problem there.. Be gentle, she might have a hard time telling you about it/admitting her problems IF she has any..

Good luck!

OK...here we go!!! How hard has your lady been working out?? How drastically has she changed her diet?? How have things been with her...medically and mentally.....serious Kuso....if things are getting her stressed, its a prime cause for her period to stop!!!

As for the other questions...I'll let you in a little bit about the human body especially females reproductive cycle!!!! If you change your diet drastically and increase your energy output all at once...the body goes into "survival mode"....all non essential functions shut down!!!! Hense the body feels that there is a drought happening = lack of food....and the need for energy is greater....the periods are the first to go!!!!

Let your lady know that she needs a balanced diet...do not..I repeat .... do not cut down on her dietry intake..your only asking for bigger health problems that are harder to correct!!! The periods will return...some quickly once a proper diet is taken on board....and the exercise is kept realistic!!!!

Hope this helps......I only know what happened to a very good friend of mine....I had to sit thru many Doctors appointments with her...and ended up having to rush her off to the emergency dept. on more than one occasion.....small steps are better!!!!

I spoke to a friend in the industry...she said that when the body gets an abundance of adreniline...due to excessive exercise the hormone levels tend to go hay-wire....hense the lack of periods!!! Nature can only fix it in its own time!!!! Hope this helps you out!!!!!!
