depends on what you did in your lifting session and how intense your cardio is going to be.

I wouldn't do it after leg day.
so, it depends on how intense you upper body workouts are and how intense your cardio is going to be. if you are lifting intensly, you may want to make the cardio slower and more aerobic to give you system a break. also, it depends on what you are doing on inbetween days. |

I sometimes do cardio right after I lift weights, but I prefer to do it either on a different day or at a different time of the day.

on off days i will be doing boxing. do you think i should just do the cardio when i do the boxing? i read somewhere to do cardio in the morning when u wakeup, bc if u do it in the middle of the day you would be just burning the calories u ate and not that much fat. true? |

boxing is cardio....so, there is no need to do more on those days.
i don't know that you even need to do more then boxing 2-3 times a week. maybe one other day of cardio after an upper body workout. |

I think some low intensity cardio after resistance training is a reasonable proposition, something like 20-25 minutes worth. Doing it right after a leg workout is probably not the best idea though, heh. If your goal is purely weight loss though, then I don't think it would hurt anything really.
