Unilateral chest press
Lately been interested in this exercise. If there is any confusion it is a DB bench press but alternating with arms, one at a time. Doing the motions however, feel kind of different. And with heavier weight, it may be a challenge to manage.
Does this sound like an injury prone exercise? It doesn't look right sometimes, which is most likely why I don't really see people doing it. Any thoughts? |

I think it's a great exercise. I like to do it without a counter-weight in the other hand. You have to really tighten up your core and drive your legs into the ground like this. For another fun exercise, try doing unilateral DB flys.
If you want to keep a counter-weight in the other hand then it is still a good exercise as you are keeping your muscles under tension (Assuming you don't relax at the bottom, which you shouldn't) the duration of the set, and it causes the stretch reflex to dissipate and forces you to generate more of that tension without autonomous means. |

Try doing a flye in one hand and a press in the other...talk about fucked up. These kind of things I find very fun and beneficial to do
