    Correcting Irregular Trap Growth

So i was looking in the mirror the other day (as you do) and noticed that not only is one trap a different size to the other, but the development of one side and lack of on the other seems to have caused my shoulders to become lop-sided.

From what i can make out my left side is about an inch higher than my right. The left trap is also more substantial than the right.

Is there anything i can do to correct this fairly quickly?. The only thing i can think of is to cut out the shrugs on the left side and maybe up them on the right?.

    Thanks

Do not work just the smaller side.
Your stablizing mucsels (like your delts and upper tri) will get bigger.
so when you finaly get your traps to even up you will have uneven tris and delts.

Your fourm is off and thats why one is larger than the other.

Use dumbbells and try to even it out that way. It may just be genetic. My left side is generally larger than my right on my upper body, but I think my right leg is a tad bigger and stronger.

In that case, is it worth still working the left side to maintain, and up the intensity of the right side a bit?.

Its weird really, my right side is stronger (dominant i guess, both right handed/footed) yet its underdeveloped, figures really.

It might just be genetic then. If you overwork the right side relative to your left and create an even greater strength difference, then I would think the risk of injury wouldn't be worth the vanity.
