    Leg Workouts

I work legs once every 5 days. What do you guys think of having alternating workouts on that day where one is structured around squats and the other around deadlifts. I have been trying to have a leg day dominated by squats and a back day that includes deadlifts (both within the same 5 day cycle) but I feel like that is too much. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds ok to me, I do that right now...I hit squats one a week then the next week do deads....and also push/pull....I never liked doing Deads with back, they hit the legs and core more than they do lats or biceps.

Theres a stick P-Funk posted up from CowPimp that talks about a workout consisting of just squats. I am actually considering it for maximum strength on squating.

yes you can have a quad dominant workout and a hamstring dominant leg workout and cycle the two of them, however don't forget that quat dominant doesn't mean only quads but that quads should be prioritized

    ie:
quad dominant: oly squats (high bar, narrow stance), good mornings, lunges+calf work and/or isolation crap
ham dominant:deads, front squats, sldl's+calf work and/or isolation crap
