    morning workout.

    I plan on starting to work out before i go to work starting tomorrow. should i eat something before I go? I plan on doing 30 minutes of cardio and then doing my lifting routine.

    i would do lifting 1st i think.....yes eat a big pre-workout meal

    Yes, you should definitely eat. Eat a meal consisting of virtually all protein and carbohydrates if you're hitting the gym soon after your meal. Ingesting fats slows digestion, and subsequently delays the availability of the energy provided by what you eat. Also, lift first, and do your cardio afterward.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    totally agree with Kenwood Cardio after use the energy for the weights, then the cardio. As far as the food I would both before and after since the stomach is completelly empty in the morning, you should provide it with plenty of food so your body can use it as energy. I used to workout before classes in the morning but I found myself to be to tired for class after it. so I moved my time to later on in the day.

    ya i remember when i once did my workout in the morning i felt like crap and weak. i didnt eat enough and talk about the tiredness.

    I soemtimes workout at 5:00am, I just have a whey and oat shake as soon as I get up and then head for the gym. You do not want to try it on an empty stomach

    well on tuesday and thursdays I have wellnes class and its mandatory to go to the gym early in the morning, after that im dead for the next class. I ususally like taking aa nap after gym.

    Hell yea thats a good choice. But I couldnt do that. (workout at 5am means u wake up at 4:30am basically?)

    I usually make half a protein shake with milk, then im off.
