I've done that standing up without my arms resting on a bench before. It works your triceps n' stuff...

yeah i know the standing variation ...... but i don't know if resting on a bench will give u a smaller range of motion.....i was thinking that it may use less stabilizer muscles wich will make it easier to do it after a hard push workout as ur energy drops a lot at the end of the workout specially that i am cutting.....do u think so or should i try it standing.....i have a problem with skull crushers and i want to make another variation ![]() |

what about bb triceps extensions (behind the head) standin or sitting (forgot it's name ....... will it do the job instead of the skull crushers ? i know that i should try and see what works but i mean is it the same range of motion and the same effect?

i used to do that exercise standing and bent 45 degrees
