13 is fine. that is the age i started at.

What you should be doing is focusing on general strength. Don't worry about limit (max) strength right now as you need to just learn movements and build a basic foundation.

I would train total body 3 days a week. One leg exercise, one upper push exercise, one upper pull exercise and then one arm exercise. That's it! Work with weights that you can complete 12-15 repetitions with GOOD form. Form is paramount over everything else right now! Body weight exercises are great too.

From there also work on stretching and maintaining/gaining flexibility as well as doing cardio and building up a base endurance.

Kenwood, you should listen to what P-funk says, cause from what I can see you've got about the same stats as Bryson.

Hey, maybe if you're nice to Bryson he'll teach you how to speak English.

He only started doing this recently. It's kind of annoying actually. He's the reason why there's a stereotype about people my age. No es bueno.

13 is a great age to start, just stick to the basics: squats, bench, dead lift, military press, dips and pull ups....reps in the 10-12 range for now and concentrate on form the first month or so.
