Well first off you need to decide whats good for you. Start doing 5 sets of like 25 crunches. If you are looking to obtain abs, which thats what it seems, it seems like you should get your diet in tact which would be number 1 thing to do. You can do crunches all day long, but if you dont have your diet in tact you are crunching for strength and not looks.

Pilates isnt an exercise its more like a complete workout. Search it on the net. They got different kinds, look for pilates for abs.

To be quite honest, is anything new ever really said on here? Not really. It's pretty much just a bunch of information: Some people know almost all of it and regurgitate it when appropriate; others know less and regurgitate it when appropriate; others know even less and regurgitate the right information at the wrong times; others know almost nothing and make things up.

You probably have no need to do any crunches.

That sounds like an order of evolutionary stages. Made me laugh anyway. The best part is the bottom one, where they make stuff up, get proved wrong, and try to defend it.

Back to the topic though, do crunches if you need to, but certainly dont do them every day. Add extra weight to try and maximise strength gains, but again, only if its needed.
