Is it muscle soreness or a different kind of pain?

My glutes usually get pretty sore after squatting.

Should be nothing to worry about. I have had my glutes extrememly sore in the past. Like the slightest touch hurt.

That's great! Most people don't know how to use their butts properly. Revel in joy over this.

Yeah, I agree. Good for you. The soreness will probably go away after a while.

Of course... There is the other .5% of the population... They lose body parts... But you should be okay!

I really do agree though - if your glutes are sore, you're probably not doing half-assed pansy squats, which is most certainly a good thing. Your body will just get used to it and it won't happen to such a degree in eventuality.

It hurts to sit down for 3 days after squatting if I haven't squatted in a while.

Not to mention the hammies after stiffies.
What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

when i started doing squats i had very long soreness i was very concerned about the next time i'll be able to do legs because i like to do the same w/o every 6 days.......after a couple of kiler work outs i am used to squat atg and on the next day i wake up and i go cycling ... i feel the soreness now maximum for 2-3 days..........this is because this area or this muscle is not worked at all at any exercise or any place , hacks have nothing to do with ur butt!!!

It's called active recovery. Blood is your body's way of transporting nutrients between systems. Increased blood flow makes for faster recovery.

I've never felt sore in my glutes. Even after a ass to the grass day of squats. Hell I've done over 400 squat thrust in one day ( punishement :[ ) and never felt a bit of soreness anywhere but my quads, hams, and calves.

I probably squat a lot more then you ( weight wise ). I do high rep ( and low rep ), good form, front & back squats. Unilateral movements, and the only thing that's ever made my glutes sore was SLDL's.

if the numbers written in ur stats are the maxs u do squat a little bit more than me but not much more and yes how did u know my weight i'm less than 170lbs.....but i'm talking about ur form maybe u r not making a full rep or not going slow in the negative portion ..... i feel real soreness in my glutes after i squat....maybe the fact that i follow them with some hack squats (due to lack of other leg machines in the gym) is some reason of it...
