    Suggetion about my work

I wanted to know if anyone can take a look at my workout and give me a suggestion rather its a good workout or bad. I am about 5'9 and 140lbs very lean. I have been working out for almost 2 years and gained about 30lbs.

    My workout begins on Sundays
    Sun-Chest, calfs
    Mon-Back
    tues-Legs(Quads)
    Wedsnday-arms(Biceps, Triceps)
    Thursday-Shoulders
    Friday-Legs(Hamstrings)
Saturday-Break or go back to Chest Calfs and start the routine again)

And I do abs every other day.

Too much happening there. More rest needed. I assume you are looking to gain more muscle? Do you eat enough?
What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

How is that compared to your usual intake (maintenance)? You could be eating 5000 calories a day, but if you need 5500 to live, you're still not going to gain anything.

I do agree that, in all likeliness, you need more rest - you get, at most, one day of rest per week. That's probably not good enough unless your workouts aren't the least bit challenging, in which case your routine needs to be fixed.

If you read the stickies, there are many examples of very plausible and effective splits. I would honestly read the stickies and try one of the splits that apeals to you. CP has even been kind enough to include exact exercises one might use on each day.

I understand what you are saying...I know that I should probably take in close to 4500 a day to gain more mass and I really appreciate your suggestions
