    I know you should use most or all but what do you prefer?

    Straight bar.

    I used to use an EZ bar when i had grip/wrist problems early on, but as soon as that cleared up it was onto the barbell.

    Ive always used single arm dumbells, but now i actually like using the cables with either a short bar or shoulder width bar..

    In order of preference:

    dumbbells
    e-z bar
    cables
    Olympic (straight) bar

    but I never use the latter two.

    I like straight bar curls, because it stresses your wrists and forearms more than the others. However, I broke my wrist 2 years ago and straight bar curls really fuck with it.

    I'm with you there, but if I'm going to isolate then I prefer a straight bar.
