need advice with my reps pls

i've been doing the same rep range for a while i do most exercises using 10-8-6 i wanna change things now .....

(i am anintermediate goal cutting / hypertrophy& strength)

i've read about peroidization and i think it's a complicated issue and will need more reading from me to well understand it so for now any advice for what i shall do ?

should p/rr work for me now ? or shall i just vary my rep range every week like

i've just finished my exams and i'm gona make a whole new plan probably will start doing upper lower instead of push pull legs...
also i've been lifting for a while without resting more than 3 days should i take a whole week for rest before begining with a new program??

pls help with any advice or examples for varying rep ranges .....

I usually take a whole week off, or until all of my muscles completely recover before beginning a new routine, whichever comes first - but it would be up to you really. I try and take a whole fortnight off every 6 months or so as well.

P/RR is a nice easy to follow method and it varies the reps without having too much thinking on your part - which to me is a good thing. Or you could always just steal one of CP's workouts from his journal with it all laid out for you. The only trouble with that is you would have to be one tough-arsed sadistic bastard to keep up with him

It's not really advice - just encouraging you to steal, and slightly refine, other's good routines rather than coming up with your own crud. It's just lazy - but hey P-funk has even started an entire thread on his routine so now you don't even have to bother looking through his training journal to steal it - it's in the training forum.

Ah laziness and efficient training. They go hand in hand.

In all honesty - you either need to do a hell of a lot of routines yourself for years, find a whole bunch of lab monkeys to test things on, or just learn from other's mistakes and then try and build upon that and put it into practice.
