    problem???

so ive got a good workout program from the help of mike, assasin and foreman.

and i have had a good read on the nutrition and im quite educated their aswell. My preblem if that i am not sure what exactly i should do. Should i first lose some of my fat (5'8 144lbs age 17) using a solid low fat and cal diet and cardio and then workout properly. Or should i do them together. What i should tell you, is that i do play tennis everyday, and i have to train like a tennis player, which means a lot of cardio anyway. But this will happen later on.

Hopefully you can tell me which is ultimately better.

I'd do them together and lighten up on the cardio a bit while primarily using weight training to boost your metabolism and put you in a calorie deficit. Most people around here would probably agree that this is the best way to maintain your lean body mass while cutting.

    This should be good...
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

look man, i dont care much what you think about that, those people, helped me to do develop a program, believe me on my own my original program was rubbish. So their input helped a lot.

Any way, fatcat, it thought this was a place where i could ask a simple question a expects an answer which i could use, and help others, if i hold the correct info. If you can help me please do, if you cant then i dont see the point in what your doing.

I have said nothing negative. I do not wish to interrupt what these fine upstanding IM'ers have started. I am on the same search you are my friend. To obtain helpful information on the way to obtaining a rock hard physique. I hope these individuals have assisted you on your quest to bodybuilding greatness as they have for countless others. Mike has proven time and time again his genius in routine design. Assassin is skilled in the arts of dietary design and supplementation. Foreman, well Foreman stands alone. Unmatched in knowledge of every facet of the bodybuilding game, from basic routine design to proper usage of anabolics. Hang on every word he says, for every word is more meaningful than the next. Hell he's proven it over 34,000 times. Keep on keepin on Rex!

I dont know how long you've been training but at 144 I'd imagine the reason you think are fat is because you have very little muscle mass on you. Personally I think it would be better to a maintenance amount of calories for you, still eating clean the honeymoon effect alone should show some dramtic changes in your body and then from there you can judge if you think it is right to cut or bulk. Being that you tennis on a regular basis I leave that as only cardio.

You should always make sure you are resistance training on a cut. You need to use it or you'll lose it. Cardio isn't conducive to maintaining lean body mass. In fact, your body may "decide" that having a better relative VO2 max is more important if you aren't doing any resistance training while you cut weight, and subsequently drop some lean mass to achieve this.

Please dont go low fat. That is the dumbest thing ive ever done besides training just chest and arms 7 days a week. Go for a 40% protein 20% carbs and 40% fat on a cut. Cals at maintiance lower cals when fat loss stops do a carb up day every 4th day 200 cals over maintaince.
That said and done u might want to just go and slow bulk at 1 pound a week for 14 weeks then cut soem.

Since you play tennis almost daily I would probably cut your resistance training down to two days each week to reduce the systemic stress imposed on your body.
