I really admire how so many powerlifters have such great power from the stopped position at the bottom of the lift. I've been tryin to emulate this the past few weeks and doing my best to do almost bouncing or using momentum in my lifts.

So he go it? Seemed kind of anticlimatic, couldn't tell.

How much can he do raw?

I think he does around low 700s raw.

yea, I think gene rychlack only does 600 something raw and then gets like 400lbs from his shirt.

It is still an amazing lift. just to friggin' hold that weight in your arms while lying down is balls and to have the tricep strength to lock that shit out.

they do. the new shirts leave the top part open....I can't remeber what the reason behind it was? Maybe so you can actually move in them because they are so tight?

I'm not a big fan of shirted lifts (not that I don't think they're insane). I'm just more a fan of what a lifter can do raw.
