    Military Press

    Are you supposed to do these with your elbows in front of you or outwards?
    Im thinking if you do them with your elbows in front of you, you use more frond delt, and less side delt, and if you do them with your elbows outward you use more side delt and less front delt.
    Is this true?

    I say both. They are two different shoulder articulations. One is flexion and the other is abduction. With arms at the sides (Abduction) you are using more lateral delt, but you are also reducing the ROM. With arms in front you are using more front delt and triceps and increasing the ROM. You should be able to do more weight with the wider grip though.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
