You know, i actually have the same exact problem, only thing is, it occurs when I'm doing heavier weight on squatting. Always goes away the next day, but springs up again during squats.
Last wednesday I was on my last set of deadlifts I was doing 250 x 5 and after the last rep on my left knee on the right side it started hurting real bad. It went away but what do you think it could be?

seriously, take time off. if it still hurts in a week or you are swelling or black and blue or your knee is locking up....get to the doctor.

It went away so I will try it again if it keeps acting up then I will take time off then if I really need to I will goto a doctor I do not like them.
