Eat a lot and then eat some more.
What's the best advice to give a beginner who's in his 30s and has a sky-high matabolism, and weighs 135 lbs? Legs and glutes seem impossible to work on. No wise cracks, please.
Eat a lot and then eat some more.
eat...A LOT!
get a solid program.....start with total body workouts. Hit them legs.

yeah that's true however, how does a person force himself to eat in the morning. I have absolutely no appetite when I wake up and don't until around 10:00am. Also, I see improvement in upper body but none in lower body.
How do you really get a good glute work-out to where you can nicley fit in a pair of jeans?

Squats for the glutes. Squat as low as you can without losing form or destroying your knees.
You force yourself to eat by simply doing just that. Force yourself to eat a little bit in the morning for a week, then the next week eat a little more every morning and so on. I used to be like that, id only eat one or two meals a day. Now im eating 5, plus shakes.
Build it up.
If you get a good program going youll start getting hungrier anyway, since your body will just be screaming out for more calories.

Is squats the best thing for glutes? How about the leg press? I did that and couldn' sit down for a week.

Personally, i think squats are far better since they are probably the best, if not the second best, movement you can do. Ever.Originally Posted by pianoman68
