For anyone who has experience or would like to input suggestions, I have firmly decided to compete in an amateur show next May in Orange County California.
I am starting as of Monday, officially training specifically for the event.
I need to get my diet/goals/training and any supplementation (etc) in order, and while I have a decent idea of what Im going to be doing, any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am probably going to use a more frequent/HST like approach for most of the time. This seems easiest on my joints/tendons CNS over the long haul, and keeping myself healthy and inspired is huge in a long term thing.
Im getting my bodyfat checked tommorrow.. im guessin Im at about 14 percent or so, 247 lbs at 6'3.
Im looking for insight, experiences, etc.

In my two years of competing, the best things I can offer as advice are to not be afraid of consuming fats, use HIIT training for cardio-alternated bi-weekly with low impact cardio, and pose pose pose.
Also, if you want to learn how to tan, AND THIS IMPORTANT, I always get major props on my tan, drop me a PM and I will share my wares.
