Alright, so it's finally here. I had planned to drop some weight this summer, but I had found out that our coaches required us to do at least 90% of the our old maxes at the end of the year. Tomorrow is the day. After that I plan on getting into the best cardiovascular shape I can, and dropping as much weight ( while maintaining as much muscle as possible ) as I can. I was hoping pfunk or CP could help me come up with a good routine centered around plyometrics and HIIT. Also, a fullbody routine would help. I plan on lifting only 2 times a week fullbody.
When does the season start again? I'm thinking it's sometime in fall, and if that is the case I would probably focus a little more on resistance training for now and kind of phase in conditioning and skill work as the season approaches.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
