......if your shoulders are sore after a push session would you have a problem with pull ups on the next day ? are the shoulders involved in the pull/chinups?? i feel that they are much harder to me when my shoulders are sore.....
yeah i think so ...... i was just trying to work 2 consecutive days ....but maybe the triceps is involved a little bit ?? i think use it a little ..my triceps was really sore on that day

Depends how you're doing the pullups. Your triceps do assist a little in shoulder extension, so that might be a contributing factor. Even then, it's pretty limited because they enter active insufficiency because your elbow is bent while extending during a pullup.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
i never really feel sore from bench press with barbell no matter what angle i do it
I never really have either. Most of the size I have on my chest is the result of BB benching though. On that note, I DB benched Sunday for the first time in months and my chest (Only upper chest though for whatever reason) is quite sore.

That's exactly my case, db press makes my chest sore as fuck, flys make it a lil sore, but bb bench does nothing

Again though, most of the mass I have put on my chest is due to barbell benching. Really, my upper body rarely gets sore. I can't remember my shoulders ever being sore, but it's one of my better body parts.

I seem to get better strength gains when i train with DB bench. I much prefer it to BB bench for some reason.
I guess a part of it is that i know if i cant get the weight up and am in a bit of trouble, its a lot easier to get rid of the DBs rather than a BB. Makes me more inclined to push myself harder.
But obviously, that has nothing to do with the topic.
If your chest gets hit in pullups, does it help to keep the chest out of the movement if you dont 'lean' as far backwards?

Strength gains from doing DB pressing? For what, BB benching? Hmm, I dont know if I remember my bench getting stronger when I incorporated DB pressing. I did, in fact, seem to get 'bigger' when I did DB pressing. It was then people started asking if I was juicing.
Ive always liked DB flat bench more than BB and it might be cuz of the fear of getting caught underneath the bar, who knows? Only problem with DBs that will forever haunt anyone is its own limits.
I repped 125lbs at my gym on Sunday. Next ones we have are 135lbs and 150lbs, nothing in between.
