What hits triceps more.

Overhead db extension or close grip bench press?

Between those two, I like CG bench better, but my fav tricep exercise is weighted dips... I only do it once every other week though, it's hard on my shoulders.

I don't think I've done DB overhead extensions for over a year.

Overhead extensions will hit the tris more, but I would pick CG bench over tri extensions any time (hits alot more than just the tris)

close grip bench press ( a compound movement) will hit the triceps more...better for size and power.

Both are good. As far as isolation exercises go, the overhead extensions are enjoyable. I'm going to implement those in my upcoming program actually.

Those are my two fav tri movements. The overhead extension is better at hitting the long head though, which adds sweep to the tris. The CG's allow you to use a ton of weight, which can shock the tris into growth. I suggest CG be done on a slight decline, which makes them more effective.
