Self spotting cages

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS

I remember reading once a self spotting cage that prince recommended, but I can't seem to find the thread anymore. Metal fatigue has killed the press arm on my current exercise machine and I remember thinking damn, I wish I knew about that when I read princes post (I suspect repair might not be possible or cost more than I want to spend on the machine...).

Dandelion Games - Dandelion Games include Block Insanity, 3D Breakout, Firecracker...
None of these games will make you faster, stronger, leaner, or help you in any way, what they will do is make you choke yourself with boredom.
UPDATE Block Insanity may entertain you, and quite possibly if played rigorously for 20 minutes a day, may assist in weight loss, so try it damn it!

I seriously which I had a power rack, a barbell, and some plates. No need to go to a gym.

Than why don't you get them?
It is cheaper than paying for a non-ending fee(your gym membership)

I'm not sure that was it, I'm still somewhat in shock I can't find the post though it was probably 2 or 3 years ago.... I do have $438... but do I have an 8 foot ceiling in my garage.... I'd have to look locally to see what was available too to make sure I was paying too much S&H for big heavy stuff (that site sells olympic weights at about $1 for 1lbs, not sure if that included S&H but seems to me that generally locally it's about $1 for 2lbs).

Not really, my gym is like 120 a year. Now power racks and equipment can be costly. Plus with college and all it isn't worth it at the moment. When I get my own place I'll have one.

That shermworks one doesn't go into the details, but I bet one of the ways to use their setup besides throwing the ropes over a floor joice is to duct tape the ropes to a solid piece of dry wall...

I don't think I'd want to spend more than 600 on a cage and bench together, as I'll have to get the actual weights/bar/place to rack the weights when not in use etc too.... What I'm willing to spend is going to be directly influenced by the cost to repair my machine... if repairing the machine is dirt cheap then I probably wouldn't buy anything else for now, but if I'm looking at a few hundred dollars or more, then I'd rather invest in the freeweights and cage setup. The machine survived regular use for quite a while, but it'll only break faster the next time (I imagine the part that bent is likely to bend in most situations where people used anywhere near the maximum weight on the machine over time).

http://www.ironcompany.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=729 I like this one, it's basically the same as one already posted but has places to rack the weights (handily close to the bar you'd rack them on...). The price is too high though. I still don't know what the repair costs on my old equipment is gonna be
