what good are they? i mean should i be doin them?

reverse cable curls are good u could end your workout with them....they are good for your wrists ...

just make sure that when the elbow is fully flexed, the elbow is only able to travel forward a few inches allowing the forearm to be no more than perpendicular to the floor. This is a common mistake I see as it allows for a relative release of tension in the muscles between repetitions.

Unless you are doing them for forearms, I agree that hammers are far better. Forearms are the limiting factor when doing pronated curls, none of the bicep area will be challenged IMO.
