    Cardio

I am taking a week break from lifting next week and wanted to know if I could still do cardio. Also wanted to know how many times a week I can do cardio when I switch to total body 3x a week monday, wednesday, and friday.

You can do cardio everyday if you want. Even on days you lift. Just make sure you seperate it, like weights in the morning and cardio in the evening and get plenty nutrition and rest in between.

on your week off I suggest you take the week completely off, and as for cardio during your total body it depends on your goals.

I would say a little cardio is fine. I wouldn't increase the amount of cardio you do already, that's just replacing one stressor with another. However, the stress placed on your system is quite different with aerobic exercise.
