    what order of days works

im a little unsure about how i should order my days of working out. So far, i have been doing 2 leg days, a push and pull day.

    MON push
    WED leg
    SAT pull
    SUN leg

But im reconsidering. Is there a better order of days.

MON, WED, SAT, SUN are pretty much the days that i am free, i lead a bit of a busy life. IT would be really help ful if anybody could help me out here.

Whoa dude! What are your goals? Are you seein any increase in weight? Now people correct me if I am wrong but that seems overtrainin to me.

What I tend to do is
    Monday: Push
    Wed: Pull
    Friday: legs

But I wanna mix things up a little
    Monday: Pull
    Wed: Push
    Friday: Legs

    Monday: Push
    Wed: Pull
    Friday: Legs

    ...... I think u get the idea

how about Monday: Push/ Wed: Legs/ Sat: Pull?

I think a 4 day split is fine.

Its basically an upper/lower, except its separated (i think quite intelligently) into upperpush/lower/upperpull/lower.

Personally i dont think theres much you can do with it, rex. If those are the only days you can work out on. If you could possibly change it up so you did:

    Mon-UpperPush
    Tues-Lower
    Weds-Off
    Thurs-UpperPull
    Fri-Lower
    Sat-Off
    Sun-Off

Or that same configuration just moved down a day or whatever.

If possible you could separate your lower days into LowerPush + LowerPull aswell. Depends what equipment you have access to.

I wouldn't do that simply because it leads to you training Saturday-Monday straight. Just stick to 3 days a week. That's all you need. Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday would be my choices. That way you never train two days in a row. Why do it if you don't have to?

cowpimp, what do you mean when you "That way you never train two days in a row. Why do it if you don't have to?"

i mean surely i little more training doesnt hurt, would'nt i get more gains, im not completely overtraining. Im asking purely as a curiosity question i will take your advice seriously, i just wanna know the reasoning behind it for my own knowledge.

sorry if i sound a little arrogent.

If you can recover properly from it, then training more frequently would be better in theory. However, as I said, you are going to end up resistance training 3 days in a row if you add in the other day. Since I felt that wasn't a good idea and suggested a 3 day split, I thought it would be best to make sure you have a day of rest after each session.

Also, if I remember correctly, you play a lot of tennis, no?
