I would be lifting heavy things most likely and do you think I would be overtraining or what that is what I mean.

Yeah, if you go in there with sore mucles. If I was you I'd just do a full body routine on Friday so I could recover over the weekend.

I've done manual labor jobs and weightlifting at the same time. Usually you aren't imposing levels of stress on your neuromuscular system at the intensity that you are in the gym.

Guys who do that sort of work or contruction have got big muscles. So right there you know that that kind of work is a workout itself. So I wouldn't train and then go to work the next day knowing I'd have to work those same muscles.

Uh, no they don't. I used to work construction. Most of the people have fairly average physiques.

u could workout even every day while working in such a job but u'll have to make a good split and routine that'll fit with your scedule ...... and then u'll body will be able to recover faster by time and u'll find it easier to organize it......

I work at FedEx Ground, and I adjust my exercise schedule to fit my level of exertion at work. If I have a week where we're swamped with freight then I don't lift weights as much because I'm already getting a good pump on the dock. However, on a slower week at work I'll hit the gym a bit more. Usually I only lift weights in the gym about 3 times a week on average. (Push-Pull-Lower)
