    Faster Recovery

Here are some of the things I do:

-Stretch before and after I train

-I recently read an article which says drinking lots of water right after a workout helps a lot so I need to start doing that

-Stretch body in the morning, massage where it's sore (before breakfast)

-Eat protien and carbs throughout the day

-Eat fruits and vegtalbes, I also take green supplements

    -sleep

    -keep my stress down
    Good Day

Word. When I go to complete failure and it takes up to about 4-5 days to recover rather than the usual 3.

    ya...lot of u guys said this b4.

Gopro's p/rr/s is all failure....and him n his clients been doin it for a while.
I think you have to factor in lifestyle. If someone's working 40/50 hours week, barely getting rest...than failuire's bad.

I"m always lounging, so my muscle's are always getting rest when not at the gym.

it's not about recovery at all actually....taking every set to failure reduces resting testosterone levels...and lowers IGF-1...or so I've read...training to failure all the time is only good for muscular endurance. If you are a drug using bodybuilder, then I would assume those two things I mentioned wouldn't really concern you. It also taxes the shit out of your central nervous system..and I could imagine you taking longer between sets when training to failure, and short resting intervals have been shown to be better for hypertrophy....just food for thought there friend.

i feel soft leaving the gym when I dont max out. And barely gain when i rep 1-2 before failure. But when I take it all the way, i see incredible gains...almost everyday i look bigger.

If you are a beginner and can't bench 315+ or squat 450+ then any workout will work.....once you get past those points you have to really learn how to train.

my weights are girly compared to u guys......but im getting bigger by the day, so maybe what's provened to work for experienced guys....isn't so good for newbies.

Im with foreman on that one.

Training needs to be basic, cut and dry until you hit a certain point.

Heavy weights, moderate reps, low volume with lots of rest.

Unless you are a super newb, you are not getting bigger by the day....that shits' in ur head. If by some miracle of superior genetics you are growing this quickly...don't expect it to last, or you will be sorely dissapointed.

WTF You CAN'T be serious. If you have a shitty program then you may NEVER hit those numbers. I don't consider myself to be a beginner ( maybe by your standards, but only by comparison) and I'm not puttin those up. Now just about any workout may work while in the newb stage...but that shit doesn't last until ur benching over 300 and squatting over 450 Jesus, especially when taking into consideration the vast difference between strength training and training for size..

I don't agree with those numbers per se, but I think he makes a good point beside that. Any bullshit works in the beginning, though a good program coupled with a good diet will work better. At a certain point you need to get your shit together though.
