    Mass muscle groups

Aside from the big muscles in the lower body as being the first, what group of muscles is the second heaviest or holds the second greatest muscle mass: the front (chest and abs), back, or arms and shoulders?

Also another question. Since doing 8-12 reps increases muscle size so muscle is being added and muscle weighs more than fat, that counts as mass building too, right? i heard that mass building should be done in low intanse reps (1-6) so i was wondering if 8-12 reps was exeptional also.

I think the back muscles would run a close second.

You heard wrong. 1-6 reps is for strength gains. 8-12 is best for hypertrophy ("mass building").
    The Dude abides.

    Lats then chest

Mass "Hypertrophy" is the 5-15 rep range....but even more than that to a lesser degree.
