I dunno if i'd reccomend it permenantly at the exclusion of training on separate days, but working antagonist muscle groups every now and again can certainly give results.
According to GoPro's routine for power/rep range/shock, one of the training days trains both biceps and triceps..
I've heard that training these two muscles on the same day, would be less beneficial than training the muscles on two seperate days..
( the training day obviously consists of isolated exercises )

I really doubt it makes that much of a difference whether you train them together or separately, but it's a good idea to keep the workouts shorter if nothing else.
Also, his progam doesn't call for it, that's just an example page for various muscle groups you're looking at. If I remember correctly, gopro doesn't even recommend working out 5 days each week. Ask him to verify though.

and for bi/tri on same day, he isn't against it nor for it, he just prefers it.
I don't think most people can handle 6 days a week, or it isn't optimal for them anyway. If they designed their programs properly and brought their work capacity to that level, perhaps, but most people can't or won't. Gopro also advocates training to failure or very close to it on your work sets; that's a recipe for disaster if done 6 days each week.Originally Posted by viet_jon
