I thought it was okay. I don't like how you constantly stay lifting heavy, but it's probably not a bad idea for a mesocycle.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

It gave me pretty good gains. But as cow pimp stated the only bad thing about it is lifting heavy weights all the time and not switching it up, which is why I have converted to p/rr/s and have been making great progress.

I've found that diet is more important that training when it comes to hypertrophy. I've got good results from a variety of programs when my diet was on point.

That and just eating the right things, and the right amount of calories to put on weight.

Train for strength, eat for size!

Yeah, the right amount of protein, but more importantly the right number of total calories.

Highly individual based on genetics, age, activity levels, etc. You have to figure out what your maintenance level calories are by either planning a diet based on estimation and tracking your weight, or logging the food you eat for several days and averaging your intake over that period of time.

Just so you know, if you decide to take the trial and error route, 15 calories per pound of bodyweight is a good place to start for a male.
