    Knee Pain

Lately my knees have just felt bad. I drink plenty of water and my form is good on my squats and deads. (I feel no pain during lifts...hell it's actually somewhat therapuetic) But walking around, especially on cold mornings, I can DEFINITELY feel my knees...So what really causes knee pain??

Could it be the last cycle I ran of tren ace and test prop is taking it's toll on my joints now??

I have heard of anabolics contributing to joint degenaration, but I don't want to make a blanket statement. My knowledge in this department is zero.

Do you do any jogging outside as well? That is often pretty tough on the knees.

I did a little when I was cutting, but that's been a while and I was barely consistent with it...I've also been off cycle for a pretty good while now too....(enough to where I am now beginning to put weight on naturally again)

Now ignore the fact that I have ran a couple cycles and give me some general advice about knee health and what I might do to rectify this problem...Would glucosamine chondroitin do anything for me?? Could this be somewhat arthritic?? (I'm only 22)

You could try glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM. I've heard good things about it, but haven't looked into it too much myself. Drinking lots of water and making sure you get plenty of omega-3s helps too, as this will insure that your synovial fluid does it's job.

Knee wraps maybe?? Would that do anything?? Or since I'm not actually experiencing pain during the lift would it be useless??

Is the pain inside the knee joint or is it on the front of your knee?

That could possibly make things worse. I don't like wraps; the idea of jamming your patella into your femur seems like a bad idea. You could try heat wraps for the knee.

Front I believe...almost like doms, when sitting down I can apply pressure just under the cap and feel a little soreness. It's not bad but it just worries me a little...

I'm no doctor, but I've had several knee issues, one of which is chronic patellar tendonitis. That's what your symptoms sound like. I'm fighting it right now in my right knee, so I have to take a little extra time to warm up before training legs. If it is tendonitis, it won't hurt after you're warm, but it's very painful after you cool down.
Here are a couple of links to check out.

That said, if the pain is beneath the tendon toward the knee joint further, you could have some meniscus damage. Either way, it's worth getting it looked at IMO.

Never thought about tendonitis, but that sounds about right...
