    Posing Routine

I am still a ways away from my comp. (11 weeks). but i want to look for a song to pose to. I have a couple in mind but wanted some more to hear just in case.

Also at what week should a competitor have his/her routine down?

If you list a song, please remember that i am considering it and dont want just somebody's favorite hits cd.

    Peace

Not sure what origination your in but the NPC now scores the night show, so your routine is VERY important.

Its time to start now! I spend more time posing and less doing cardio. You will find that 30min of hard posing is like a whole body workout!

Know your routine! Do it over and over! Video tape it and correct what you don’t like. Remember its your show. You must be happy with the presentation so you will be confident on stage.

I use some unusual music (its a secret) you may be my competition one day........

To refuse to learn anything that could prove beneficial to yourself is a working definition of stupid!

High-intensity training is going all-out, not almost all out. It is taking one set to one's absolute limit, not almost to the limit. It is using whatever equipment’s available. It is not the words of two or three men, but a commitment to work as hard as possible while in the gym without socializing, resting excessively between sets, or falling prey to the 'this isn't going to work so I'll copy the star' attitude"

Try to have your routine down pat at around two weeks out. By the day of the show, you shouldn't have to think about a single pose. At this point you should be able to do it in your sleep.

Its hard to recommend a song because we all have different tastes. You must pose to something that YOU feel passionate about. For me that may be one type of muscic, and for you another.

In my routines I usually use 2 songs mixed together. I will pose to something slow for the first half, using very dramatic, classical poses...then, all of a sudden I will go to something that rocks the house...it could be hard rock or some crazy techno stuff. This always gets a great response.

Bottom line is pose to something because you really "feel" it, not because its popular. The crowd will sense your passion and respond accordingly!

Thanks for the info, i do practice posing everyday mick, so thats no problem.

Gopro i know what your saying. I actually have a couple songs ready and one of the front runners starts out slow then half way through cuts into a louder, harder song.
