Training accomplishments you made this summer?

mine would be my bench and incline bench since i was really hitting them hard. my incline before was 135 for a few reps and now its 185 for 6easy reps. My bench went from 185 for 5reps to 225 for 5-6reps . my clean bulk diet was really great too. best gains of my life. i was gettin this everday usually: over 300g. of protein, over 400g. of carbs, and under 80g. of fats but now it sucks balls. badly,i have slacked badly and my diet is crap.

Coming back from my ankle injury, and improving squat form at heavier weights. Also dropping down 15 lbs after my ankle injury while improving my lifts, and staying in decent shape for football. Also haven't lost any speed or agility.

That's pretty damn good. I did deads yesterday after a 3 week layoff, and talk about painful. I did 5x3 and went 245,265,285,305,315. I thought I was going to puke.

I'm assuming those bench numbers are from the end of July? So you've added about 50 lbs to your max bench in one month's time? Great job. You should have no problem adding another 20 by the end of August.

I deadlifted a new PR, 435. I also hit 275 and 285 on the bench press. I have also hit numerous PRs on other lifts like RDLs, DB bulgarian squats, overhead pressing, chinups, etc. My training has been pretty productive the last year or so.

I'm working on gaining a little weight now too. Hopefully before the year is up I will see some more PRs.

I made some new records this year.

--325lb Deadlift
--150lb Bench (Bad Shoulder)
--250lb ATG Squat

I keep running into problems, first my shoulder from dislocating it a lot when I was little doctors said it was fine I was just "Double-Jointed" and so I always popped it out. Then I ran into problems in the future and had to stop lifting for 3 months and slowly workup my shoulder. Now I have a problem with my lower left side of my back which I think could be my erector spinae but no clue.

315 Bench, 420 deadlift (which I need to re-test), 160x5 Millitary Press, eating 6 semi-healthy meals a day, proper supplementation, all happened in the last few months.

350 bench, 245 shoulder press, haven't maxed out on squat but 365 lbs 4x6, much better diet thanks to this site, dropped all the useless supps about 5 months ago & I feel much, much better.

With all of Foreman's replies about food being the best thing you can do for yourself, I finally took it to heart and have been making the best gains of my life. All of this without the creatine, AAKG, testboosters, CLA, and the many others I've tried. Only a multi, whey, fish oils, & ZMA for me now, and of course, the diet.

I'm 30 and in better shape than I was when I was 18-20, when I worked out on a daily basis. It really is amazing how much your diet plays into your goals & physique. I wish I had this advice when I was 15. Thanks guys.

Worked on explosive power and speed starting in February, which greatly increased my softball hitting power and speed in the outfield this summer. Hit several shots of 350'+ so far this season which is a first for me. Overall strength sucks right now, but I'll start working on that in August.

My best accomplishments were at the start of Summer.

I finally managed to do a pullup (3 actually). I used to could only get about halfway up before failure.

My bench was up to 350, and my Military Press was up to 200.

I say was, because a few weeks after putting those numbers up, my shoulder started giving me hell At this very moment my numbers on pressing movements suck.

A few months ago I finally started doing ATG squats. At first I couldn't even go all the way down without losing my balance. Eventually, I got the hang of them though. I have no idea what my 1RM is, as a 5RM is as heavy as I'll go. Right now I'm doing 250 five times. No idea what the equals to for a 1RM.

What's up with the lack of leg work? Did you have some type of injury or just didn't feel like you needed the size? I just recently got back to 335 x 5 ATG squats, and a 460 1RM @ parallel.

Well I did deads and squats for 5 years then said fuck weight lifting. Just hit weights from time to time to stay big. Now I want to be in shape again so I am doing every lift.

Makes sense. Good goals and accomplishments. I've struggled and put in hours of pain for the past 4-5 years in the weighroom to achieve what I have, and in another month or 2 you'll surpass me ( and naturally if you really want too ). Muscle memory is amazing isn't it? Not to mention you have the oppertunity to have a great diet among other things. I'm glad I'm finally getting to a point where hormones and raised test levels ( due to age ) are going to help me out.
