military press help.
my military press sucks. its like 95lbs for 6-8reps
maybe i'm not pushing myself hard enough any tips on how to improve it? my goal is for 135 for 5-8reps. i'm gonna shoot for it on monday . the only thing i do for my shoulders are military press 4x6-8reps. |

try actually building your shoulders....By incorporating various movements and working ALL of the shoulder! ure best is 125 yet u willingly do just 95??? wtf???

I prefer seated dumbell presses over military presses personally.
You may wish to vary your exercises for shoulders if possible. Especially if you feel like you just want to "get the exercise over with". Military presses alone for shoulders are not enough IMO. Maybe you also need to strengthen your rear delts to balance. |

That happens to me sometimes, if I don't rest long enough between sets. Maybe you were not fully recovered from your previous set
